Practical information:

All tickets gives access to the festival area. Here you can find our giant spectators tent, live music and a variety of stalls selling official Holmenkollen-merchandise, food and beverages. The area is clearly signposted. Many thousands Norwegian and international visitors are expected daily. It’ll be buzzing!

Entrances

There are two entrances for spectators. The main entrance shall be used if you come with metro or by walking to the arena. Entrance North shall be used in case you come from Frognerseteren or Midtstuen. Follow our signposting.

On foot

Walking from Majorstuen to Holmenkollen takes around 1 hr 30 mins. Follow Slemdalsveien to Slemdal Station, then continue along Frognerseterveien until you reach Besserud Station. From there it is around 1 km to the arena.

Metro

Travel with the metro from the centre of Oslo to Holmenkollen on the date of your ticket. Take Line 1 (destination Frognerseteren), which operates a frequent service from early morning. Alight at Holmenkollen Station. The arena is only 300 metres away. Just follow the roar!

We recommend pre purchase of metro tickets. The Holmenkollen arena is located within zone 1 and all Ruter tickets are available for this route. Visit www.ruter.no for information about schedules and more ticket information.

By car

There are no parking facilities in Holmenkollen during the World Cup. Alternatively, you can park in the centre of Oslo and make your way to Holmenkollen by metro or on foot.

Opening hours

The festival area, including the spectator tent is open from 10:00 on Thursday and Saturday and from 09:30 on Sunday.
